Smoothies for the whole family… yes please! My kids (and myself) devour this high protein Berry Green Smoothie. With 45 grams of protein and so many nutrient dense fruits, it doesn’t even taste like you’re eating (or drinking in this case) something healthy.
If you’re kids are as picky as mine when it comes to eating veggies, hiding some greens in a smoothie is a great way to get them in their tiny little bodies. And yes, I’m all about hiding veggies when I can to get less whining.
How to make this delicious high protein Berry Green Smoothie?
All you need are the following ingredients and a blender:
- Greek yogurt: I love Oikos Pro Vanilla Greek Yogurt because it is low in sugar, high in protein (20 grams), and has a great texture.
- Protein Powder: My favorite protein powder is Clean Simple Eats in Vanilla.
- Chia Seeds: This is a great source of fiber. Fiber helps with your digestive system and helps regulate your blood sugars, along with many other great benefits. 2 tablespoons for chia seeds provides around 8-10 grams of fiber.
- Spinach: this is one of my favorite greens to blend into smoothies or sauces and hide if from my kids.
- Banana
- Raspberries: another great source of fiber
- Strawberries

Smoothie Making Tips
- I love using frozen fruit and spinach for my smoothies. I throw fruit and spinach that is about to go bad in a ziplock bag and freeze it to make future smoothies.
- If you use fresh fruit and spinach, add a couple of ice cubes to make it cold and more smoothie like.
- You can change up your smoothie with different fruits or a different flavor yogurt.
